The Solaris 55 has been designed to satisfy the most demanding customers requiring performance sailing even with reduced crew. The in-house technical department along with the naval architect Javier Soto Acebal have worked for fourteen months to fine-tune this project to the smallest detail, to ensure the 55 becomes the bench mark in the 16 meter category in the world today, both in terms of aesthetics and functionality.
The hull and deck of this twin-rudder performance cruiser is made using a sandwich composite construction of E-glass with PVC Airex core. The main bulkhead and forward bulkhead are also in composite using an Airex core. This creates a light hull which withstands the multi-directional loads much better and is far more rigid than other simple laminated constructions. A full carbon hull is also an option.
The Solaris 55 comes standard with a beautiful handcrafted Oak interior including three double cabins each with their own ensuite and two separate showers. This boat also has the option of a tender garage that can accommodate a fully inflated tender and outboard.
