Hanse’s first yacht designed by the French yacht designers Berret-Racoupeau, combines a striking new look with maximum innovation while retaining the core DNA of Hanse yachts – fast cruising, easy sailing and exceptional build quality.   The results speak for themselves with more than 250 yachts sold in the first year of production and the sailing Oscars win – European Yacht of the Year for 2022.  This makes the French designed and German built yacht one of Hanse’s most successful models of all time.

Windcraft has seen a similar market response with 15 of these new models ordered for Australia and NZ in the first 12 months with strong demand for more expected as the first models arrive into the country.

The first Hanse 460s are arriving into Australia in September 2022 and into NZ the following month.  Windcraft is premiering this new model for Australia at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron on Friday the 7th of October 2022.

Slotting in-between the Hanse 458 and the 508, the 460 offers customers the opportunity to highly personalise their yacht with the choice of no fewer than 12 layouts. Versions from a 3 cabin, 2 head ‘Classic’ layout with nav table to cater for long distance cruising, to a 5 cabin 3 head version that will appeal to sail charter and training operators and is capable of sleeping 10 in private, generous accommodations.
