Carole Noffke - Office Manager - New Zealand

Carole is the friendly face you’ll see in the New Zealand office. She’s a highly skilled Office Manager with over 20 years experience in accounting, administration, human resources and client relations, in a variety of industries including IT and Wine machinery.

It’s the friendships and the camaraderie of the yachting community that Carole says she enjoys the most. And along with husband, Bruce (a retired Naval Frigate Commander), they’ve enjoyed yachting for the past 20 years, cruising around places like Hauraki Gulf and Bay of Islands on their yacht, ‘Reprise’ – a 42’ Lidgard Regardless.

Carole learned how to sail at the Penny Whiting School. She is a long term member of the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron and has completed her Boat Masters (which she sees as vitally important for anyone going out on a boat so that hey know the hazards can read the signs) and Coastal Yacht Masters.

“When the opportunity presented itself to combine my passion for yachting with my existing career skills I had to put myself forward for the position at Windcraft. I had already heard great things about the company, from close friends who own a Moody 54DS.”

Meeting the boat owners is a pleasure for Carole, she likes their enthusiasm and excitement when they come to see their new boat arrive. She enjoys the opportunity to introduce prospective owners to Windcraft yachts. Getting owners back out on the water after fixing a problem, and seeing their relief is what drives Carole. And she is happy to represent a group that draws customers with professional staff, exceptional service and the reputation of the brands it represents.

Carole loves being out on the water, but she says her enjoyment can “depend on the weather!”. She loves the boating environment around Auckland, the little islands and bays make for delightful sailing. Most years her husband Bruce takes their yacht off-shore to the Pacific Islands. But Carole says she prefers to see land when she’s sailing so joins him on the yacht once he’s there!
