Buying a Boat?

Murray Kellam and his partner Margot took delivery of their new Moody yacht on 23rd December 2011...

... she was the best Christmas present they could have wished for.

We chatted to Murray about buying a boat from Team Windcraft.

"This is the third yacht I've bought from Peter Hrones and Team Windcraft" said Murray.

"I never even considered going anywhere else.

The first yacht I bought from Windcraft was a second hand Dufour 32 around 7 years ago.

I then moved on to a Hanse 350 'Sine Die'. We had some fantastic times on her.

We're based in Melbourne so we did lots of sailing down south including 6 trips to Phillip Island.

We also enjoyed the cruise across the Bass Strait and up to Pittwater. The Hanse yacht handled the rough seas really well.

We decided to go a little bigger this time - the Moody 41 AC Classic is perfect for us.

We're going to use 'Wollamai' as our floating apartment here on Pittwater. We're planning to enjoy the next 3 weeks on board over the holiday season and we're really looking forward to the total luxury she offers.

I have 2 sons aged 30 and 26 and they're planning on coming up for a few days which will be great. We also have a number of friends visiting for a few days at a time."
