Club Marine Pittwater Sail Expo – March 2016

The weekend of the 5th and 6th March 2016 marked the 5th Annual Club Marine Pittwater Sail Expo.

This fabulous family friendly, and free, event held at the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club on the beautiful Pittwater, Sydney was the perfect opportunity for Windcraft to showcase two Dehlers – the Dehler 38 and Dehler 46 – plus the glorious Hanse 505.

A relaxed atmosphere and uncrowded walkways gave the steady stream of visitors plenty of opportunity to inspect the boats thoroughly. The Windcraft team were kept busy explaining the merits of all the various brands and models in the Team Windcraft line up.

Why not make it a date for next year?

Auckland On Water Boat Show – Sept 2015

There was something for everyone at the Windcraft display this year at the Auckland On Water Boat Show. The Windcraft display was impressive with Hanses, Dehlers and the Moody 54 all creating quite a buzz.

Team Windcraft had 7 yachts on display, with 5 New Zealand premieres. The sleek Hanse 505 attracted lots of attention with its clever deck and rigging design combined with versatile interior layout providing enough space for up to 5 cabins. Windcraft’s Dominic Lowe says that the modern design of a Hanse is really no more complex on a 50 fter than a 40 fter so even those new to sailing can choose the size to suit and grow into it without being daunted. The owners drinks evening was quite a hit with 80 owners attending and sharing experiences.

To sum up the Boat Show Windcraft’s Dominic Lowe said

“I’m very pleased that the range now includes an entry level model as many sailors had previously thought the Hanse brand out of their reach.  I’m delighted at the volume of enquiries – ranging from those in a position to take advantage of the show special to those just beginning the exciting journey of making plans to purchase a boat in the next few years. I look forward to being able to help on that journey.”

A big thank you to everyone who came to see us…see you next time!

Sydney International Boat Show 2015 – Fab Fun in the Sun

We had beautiful sunshine throughout our five days at Sydney International Boat Show at Darling Harbour this year. And Team Windcraft’s impressive display certainly attracted lots of attention.

The Hanse line up was bustling with visitors comparing the various customised fit outs and interior choices of the different sized models.

With the Hanse 455 of particular interest as a show premiere. The Dehlers and Solaris were also greatly admired. In particular the show premiere Dehler 46 impressed many with her luxurious interior for a performance yacht and she looked splendid in the Sydney sunshine.

See you at the next one!

boat-show-7003

The Windcraft display at Sydney Boat Show this year was absolutely stunning with crowds flocking to jump on board the 16 fabulous yachts and stop for a coffee and a chat in the hospitality area. Visitors spent heaps of time on board the yachts under perfect blue skies checking out the exquisite attention to detail across the range.

Every boat was busy… but if we have a pick any favourites they would be the Australian premieres: Peter’s own Moody 54DS, the exquisite Solaris 42, the hugely successful Hanse 505 and first time at Sydney the Dehler 38.
